…Anthony Edwards’ injury hands Ayo Dosunmu starting berth
Ayo Dosunmu, finished two assists short of a triple-double as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 112–100 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Dosunmu recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, providing an all-round contribution as Minnesota returned to winning ways.
The starting guard played 37 minutes and 10 seconds, making eight of his 18 field-goal attempts and both free throws. He also contributed a steal and a block. His rebounding total included 10 defensive boards and two at the offensive end, while his eight assists led the Timberwolves.

Dosunmu finished second on the team’s scoring list, with Jaden McDaniels adding 13 points and Trey Lyles contributing 12 off the bench.
Minnesota established a 29–18 lead after the opening quarter, but Milwaukee fought back to reduce the gap to 48–47 at halftime.
The Timberwolves regained some breathing room in the third quarter before pulling away in the fourth. Dosunmu helped sustain the offence after the interval, attacking the basket as Minnesota worked to regain control.

The win offered a response to Saturday’s 121–111 defeat at San Antonio, where Dosunmu had led the Timberwolves with 27 points.
Milwaukee dropped to 1–6 after another difficult night. Minnesota’s next scheduled assignment is an away game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, November 4.
