NBA Summer League: Zuby Ejiofor drops 19 points, 15 rebounds in Hawks win

Rookie Zuby Ejiofor delivered a standout performance with 19 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks to an 82-77 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, securing their first win of the 2026 NBA Summer League, Bold Sports reports.

The Hawks entered the contest looking to rebound from a narrow 103-102 overtime defeat to the Utah Jazz in their Summer League opener, and Ejiofor answered the call with an outstanding all-around display.

The No. 23 overall pick dominated both ends of the floor, finishing with a team-high 19 points, a game-high 15 rebounds, three assists, and one block to spearhead Atlanta’s victory.

Second-year forward Asa Newell added 13 points and seven rebounds, while Kingston Flemings and Keshon Gilbert chipped in 12 points apiece.

For Oklahoma City, second-year forward Payton Sandfort led all scorers with 25 points. Bryce Thompson contributed 12 points, Aday Mara finished with 10 points and nine rebounds, and Brooks Barnhizer anchored the defensive effort with 13 rebounds.

Nigerian guard Otega Oweh recorded four points, five rebounds, and two steals for the Thunder.
