‎Chiamaka Nnadozie has celebrated Brighton & Hove Albion Women reaching the Women’s FA Cup final for the first time in the club’s history following their dramatic semi-final victory over Liverpool.

‎Brighton came from two goals down to defeat Liverpool Women 3-2 at BrewDog Stadium on Sunday, with Nadine Noordam scoring a stoppage-time winner to complete the comeback.

‎The Nigerian international quickly reacted on social media after the final whistle as Brighton secured a historic ticket to Wembley.

‎Writing on her official X account, Nnadozie said: “We are going to Wembley. Straight into the FA Cup finals. Super proud of this team. I give God the glory”.

‎Her message reflected the excitement around Brighton’s achievement after the club secured its first-ever appearance in the final of the prestigious competition.

‎The Seagulls had faced an early setback after Liverpool raced into a two-goal lead through Denise O’Sullivan and Beata Olsson. Brighton responded through Manuela Vanegas before Madison Haley restored parity in the second half.

‎With extra time approaching, Noordam struck in the 95th minute to seal the memorable victory and spark celebrations among the Brighton players and supporters.

‎Brighton will now prepare for the biggest match in the club’s history as they await either Chelsea Women or Manchester City Women in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley.
