Chiamaka Nnadozie’s Brighton made history on Sunday, qualifying for the final of the Women’s FA Cup for the first time ever.

The Seagulls achieved the remarkable feat with a 3-2 comeback victory over Liverpool at BrewDog Stadium. It takes them one step closer to ending the season with a trophy.

Liverpool looked to be cruising towards the final as they took a 2-0 lead before the half-hour mark. Denise O’Sullivan scored 11 minutes in, before Beata Olsson extended their advantage in the 22nd minute.

Brighton, however, responded immediately as Manuela Vanegas found the net in the 23rd minute to make it 2-1. In the 54th minute, the Seagulls equalised through Madison Haley, making it 2-2.

The game was set to head into extra time, but Brighton snatched a dramatic winner. In the 95th minute, substitute Nadine Noordam scored, sending her side into the final.
