Victor Osimhen has been tipped for a future move to England’s top flight after former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda publicly urged the striker to take the next step in his career. The Galatasaray forward remains at the centre of growing transfer attention across Europe.

‎The Super Eagles striker has delivered a remarkable impact in Turkey since his arrival. He initially joined Galatasaray on loan in 2024 before completing a permanent €75 million transfer. His contract runs until 2029, yet speculation continues over a possible exit this summer.

‎Osimhen has registered 20 goals and 8 assists across all competitions this season. He added seven goals in the UEFA Champions League, helping Galatasaray reach the Round of 16. His consistency has made him one of the most productive forwards in world football this season.

‎Malouda believes Osimhen is ready for England’s intensity and believes his profile fits elite competition. Speaking on Snabbare, he said:

‎“Victor Osimhen can perform in the Premier League”

‎“When you look at his mindset, his character, and his passion for the game, I think he belongs in the Premier League. Where would he fit? Each club has a different story, a different budget, contract conditions, and situations.

‎“But I think that’s what’s missing in his career now. He’s done great in Italy, in France, and now in Turkey”, he added.

‎He further stressed the striker’s next career move:

‎“I think his next step is the Premier League and the Champions League, where he can play in a team that can win it. I would say Chelsea, and maybe Liverpool, are the clubs that would suit him way better than Manchester United.

‎“He is very energetic, he’s a leader, he is the kind of player that the fans would love”, the one-time Premier League winner concluded.

‎Osimhen continues to attract strong interest from major European clubs. Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are all monitoring his situation closely. Reports suggest Galatasaray could demand around €150 million to sanction a sale.

‎Despite long-term stability in Istanbul, elite clubs remain alert to any opportunity. His contract and valuation make negotiations complex, but his form keeps him in demand.

‎For now, Osimhen remains focused on Galatasaray’s title push. The club continues its fight for another Turkish Super Lig crown. They recently suffered a setback but still control their destiny in the final stretch of the season.

‎Osimhen’s future may dominate the summer headlines, but his present task remains clear: finish the season strongly and deliver silverware.
