Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has been left out of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ squad for their pre-season training camp in Portugal, adding fresh uncertainty over his future during the summer transfer window, Boldsports report.

‎The Nigerian forward has emerged as one of the club’s major transfer stories after attracting interest from several European sides. His omission from the travelling squad comes as Wolves continue to assess offers for the 25-year-old.

‎Arokodare heads into the summer on the back of an impressive campaign. The striker earned recognition with the Super Eagles after establishing himself as one of Belgian football’s most effective forwards during his time at Genk. His consistent goalscoring form attracted interest from clubs across Europe and eventually secured his move to Wolves.

‎According to Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Wolves have already rejected loan offers from both Fiorentina and Trabzonspor for Arokodare.

‎The Serie A side remain determined to sign the Nigerian and are expected to return with an improved proposal. Trabzonspor, meanwhile, appear to have dropped behind in the race after Arokodare ruled out a move to the Turkish club.

‎Several other clubs are also monitoring the striker’s situation as the transfer market gathers pace.

‎Leaving Arokodare out of the Portugal training camp has intensified speculation that Wolves could be preparing for his departure before the new season begins. While the club has not confirmed the reason behind the decision, the timing has fuelled talk that negotiations may be progressing behind the scenes.

‎With Fiorentina ready to improve their bid and interest continuing from elsewhere, Arokodare’s future remains unresolved.

‎The coming weeks could prove decisive as Wolves weigh their options and interested clubs push to complete a deal before the transfer window closes.
