Tolu Arokodare has broken his silence following reports linking him to a training ground dispute at Wolves, with the Super Eagles striker insisting that many of the claims circulating in the media are inaccurate.
The 25-year-old issued a statement on his social media accounts after reports emerged that he had been left out of Wolves’ squad for their pre-season fixture against Maidenhead United following an alleged disciplinary incident.
Earlier reports, first published by sports journalist Nathan Judah, claimed that Wolves cancelled Monday’s training session after Arokodare allegedly refused to leave the pitch when instructed not to train with the first-team squad.
The reports also alleged that the situation continued on Tuesday, with additional security deployed at Compton Park to prevent the Nigerian striker from accessing the training ground.

Responding to the allegations, Arokodare strongly denied the reports while reaffirming his professionalism and commitment to the club.
“I was very surprised and disappointed to see the media reports today, many of which are inaccurate,” Arokodare wrote.
“Throughout my career, I have always taken great pride in conducting myself professionally and maintaining the highest training standards.”
The striker added that his focus has always been on preparing himself to contribute whenever selected.
“My commitment has always been to prepare myself as well as possible so that I can contribute to my teammates and the club whenever I am called upon.”
Arokodare also stressed that he remains committed to Wolves despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future.
“I remain under contract with Wolves, and my only intention is to fulfil my responsibilities professionally by training, doing my job, and contributing to the team in accordance with that contract.”
The incident has come amid growing uncertainty over Arokodare’s future at Molineux following Wolves’ relegation to the Championship. Although the Nigerian international previously suggested he would be open to remaining at the club, he has been linked with potential moves to Trabzonspor, Fiorentina, Genoa and Ajax.
