Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has joined Crystal Palace Women on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 Women’s Super League (WSL) season.
Palace confirmed the signing on Thursday, with the 21-year-old arriving from Portsmouth, where she spent the 2025/26 campaign and made six appearances across all competitions.
Erhabor began her career at the Brighton Academy and gained experience during loan spells with Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle before joining Portsmouth in July 2025.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, the goalkeeper represents Nigeria at international level. She made her Super Falcons debut in February, starting in a friendly against Cameroon before earning a place in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Palace manager Jo Potter welcomed the young goalkeeper, describing her as a promising talent.
“Comfort is a promising young goalkeeper, and we are thrilled to have her here at Palace,” Potter said.
Erhabor, meanwhile, expressed her excitement at joining the newly promoted WSL side and outlined her ambition to reach the highest level.
“It feels really good to be here. I’m very excited to get started,” she said.
“I’m aspiring to play at the highest level, so this is a really big step in my career.”
Crystal Palace secured promotion to the Women’s Super League after finishing second in the WSL 2 last season. They will begin their WSL campaign at home to Everton on Sunday, September 6.
Erhabor will join fellow Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in the WSL. Nnadozie moved to the English top flight ahead of the 2025/26 season and impressed during her debut campaign, keeping six clean sheets in 19 league appearances, the joint-second highest tally in the division.
