Nigerian attacker Salim Fago Lawal scored his second goal for Viktoria Plzeň as the Czech side secured a convincing 3–0 victory over Hradec Králové in their league clash on Sunday, Bold Sports reports.
The 23-year-old forward proved pivotal for his team, breaking the deadlock in the 44th minute to hand Plzeň a crucial lead just before halftime. His strike set the tone for the visitors, who went on to add two more goals after the break to seal an emphatic win.
The victory marked an important turnaround for Viktoria Plzeň, ending a five-game winless run across all competitions. The result also strengthened their position in the league as they climbed to third place with 45 points from 25 matches.

Despite the defeat, Hradec Králové remain seventh in the standings with 34 points from the same number of games. The loss was their first at home in the league since September, and just their third this entire campaign.
Viktoria Plzeň will look to build on the momentum when they face Bohemians 1905 in their next league outing on Sunday, March 15. Meanwhile, Hradec Králové will aim to bounce back when they host Baník Ostrava on Saturday.
Lawal’s latest strike continues his bright start since joining Viktoria Plzeň from NK Istra during the January transfer window. Across all competitions this season, the Nigerian attacker has now registered nine goals and two assists in 27 appearances.
