Assist Oshoala was on target for Barcelona Femini as they thrashed AS Roma 5-1 to book a spot in the semi-final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday.
The Spanish side went into the game with a one goal advantage having defeated the Italians 1-0 a week ago while their qualification was sealed with the emphatic victory at Camp You.
Fridolina Rolfo opened the scoring for Barca in the 11th minute as Maria Pilar Leon made it 2-0 in the 30th minute from 30 yards while Rolfo ensured their semi-final ticket was secured by making it 3-0 in the 45th minute.
Oshoala tapped in from close range to make it 4-0 in the 46th minute while Patricia Guijjaro grabbed the 5th goal in the 53rd minute. The visitors scored a consolatory goal in the 58th minute through Annamaria Serturini.
Barcelona will face the winner of the quarter-final tie between Lyon Feminin and Chelsea Women tomorrow. Defending champions Lyon currently walk a tightrope going into the second leg with a 1-0 deficit having lost the first leg in France.
Oshoala has scored four goals for Barca this season in the Champions League. In 66 minute on the pitch against Roma, she had a goal, an assist, two completed take ons and 100% pass accuracy.
