Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has been named the Player of the Month for October in the Turkish Super Lig following a string of outstanding performances for Trabzonspor, Bold Sports reports.
The towering Nigerian forward continued his sensational form since joining the club in October, featuring in three league matches, scoring twice, and providing one assist.
Onuachu’s influence was particularly evident in Trabzonspor’s 4-0 win over Kayserispor, where he registered one goal and one assist, and in the 2-1 away victory over Rizespor, where he netted the winning goal.
This latest accolade adds to a growing list of honours for Onuachu in Turkey. The 31-year-old has already claimed the Goal of the Month award twice and earned multiple inclusions in the Team of the Week this season. He also currently sits joint-top of the Super Lig scoring chart with seven goals, level with Eldor Shomurodov.

Onuachu’s impressive form has been central to Trabzonspor’s strong start to the campaign. The club currently sits third on the table with 24 points, five adrift of leaders Galatasaray.
Manager Fatih Tekke will be counting on Onuachu’s firepower when Trabzonspor host Alanyaspor at Papara Park on Saturday, as they aim to extend their six-game unbeaten run and close the gap on the defending champions.
