Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu will be looking to continue his impressive scoring run when Trabzonspor take on Başakşehir in their Turkish Super Lig clash on Monday night, Bold Sports reports.
Onuachu has been one of the league’s standout performers this season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 12 matches to sit joint–top of the scoring chart alongside Başakşehir’s Eidor Shomurodov. His influence has been immense for Fatih Tekke’s side, directly contributing to 50% of Trabzonspor’s 18 league goals so far.
Trabzonspor enter the fixture in strong form and firmly in the title conversation. The team sit third with 25 points from 12 games, and a victory would keep them within four points of leaders Galatasaray as the campaign approaches its midway stage.
Başakşehir, meanwhile, find themselves in the lower half of the table, sitting 12th with 13 points. However, a win could lift them as high as eighth, offering a significant boost to their season.

The head-to-head record also favours Trabzonspor. They completed a league double over Başakşehir last season and are unbeaten in the last five meetings, winning the most recent four.
