Stanley Nwabali’s agent, Mohammed Lawal, has dispelled reports in the media linking his player with a move to Orlando Pirates, SportlingLife reports.
The Mighty Buccaneers released two goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane fueling speculations that a move for a new goalkeeper is imminent.
However, Lawal revealed that the reports linking Nwabali away from Chippa United are mere rumours.

“I don’t know anything,” Lawal said when asked about reports linking Nwabali to Orlando Pirates.
“I only see the reports in the media. Any team has not approached us unless Pirates is directly speaking with Chippa United.”
The 28-year-old has been linked with several clubs with interest from Kaizer Chiefs, Al Ettifaq, and QPR.
Meanwhile, Chippa United coach, Sean Louw, has ruled out the possibility of Nwabali playing for the club next season following his impressive performances.
Nwabali still has one year left on his current deal.
Louw revealed that the Eagles goalkeeper has offers from at least 10 clubs.
In a chat with South African news outlet FARPost, Louw said, “On physical hard copy paper, I don’t know how many offers he has received,” Louw said.
“But verbally, he has around 10 or even 12 offers. He is definitely not coming back to Chippa next season.
Nwabali joined Chippa United two seasons ago and he has become an important member of the team.
Last season, the 28-year-old shot-stopper registered 26 appearances for Chippa United and kept 11 clean sheets.
