Matchday 10 of the Nigerian Professional Football League kick starts today in nine venues across the country.
Kano Pillars vs Remo Stars
Three South Western clubs will be on the road for their fixtures, while Shooting Stars stay at home to welcome Heartland of Owerri.
Kano Pillars will be up against Remo Stars, with the game expected to be a back-to-back clash of the titans for the Sky Blues after their 1-1 encounter against Rivers United inIkenne last Sunday.
Remo Stars are among the clubs with the highest away points so far this season, gathering eight from a possible 16 behind Enugu Rangers who have nine away points.
Remo erudite coach, Ogunbote, stands to face another litmus test against the Sai Masu Gida who have recorded 75% victory at home this season, winning three and a draw from four games.
Players to watch
Kayode Bankole:
Despite his error against Rivers United last week, the goalkeeper has been excellent in nine games played so far with six clean sheets.
Andy Okpe:
With four goals so far, Okpe stands to be a threat to any defence. It will be a very hard business to take away the youngster from the opponent’s defence area.
Dayo Ojo:
The experience is playing well for the former Enyimba man.
Prediction
Remo might scale through with a draw in Kaduna.
Katsina vs Sunshine
Aside from making Dipo Dina Stadium a fortress, Owena Gunners have also earned critical points on the road.
Ayodeji Ayeni-tutored side will be facing relegated battling side Katsina United. The away record of Sunshine doesn’t look bad, with the team drawing big guns like Akwa United and Rivers United away from home.
Sunshine are the only side who have earned a point from Uyo and Port Harcourt this season, an impressive record Ayodeji Ayeni and his boys can boast about.
Aside from the away points, Sunshine have only conceded three goals all from the road with Mustapha Lawal keeping six clean sheets.

Babatunde Bello
The midfielder called Trojan or free-kick maestro by some has become a regular starter with the Gunners, scoring two goals from free-kick this season.
Mustapha Lawal, Kamaru Adebari and Micheal Olasupo
Prediction
It could be an easy ride for Gunners today against Katsina with a point from the far Northern side.
Gombe vs Mfm
The Olukoya boys might embark on a back to back defeat at Pantami Stadium when they face Gombe United.
MFM have been poor on the road this season, conceding a total of eight goals with four defeats. Despite the switch in Coach, power has failed to change hands in the Lagos based club.
Just like Kano Pillars, Gombe United have kept their home from defeats this season.
Players to watch
Azeez Balogun and Akanni Elijah
Prediction
It will take a miracle for MFM not to be beaten at Pantami.
