Monza agree personal terms with Felix Uduokhai, await Beşiktaş deal

Newly promoted Serie A side Monza have reached a personal agreement with Nigerian-eligible defender Felix Uduokhai ahead of a potential summer transfer. However, the Italian club have yet to agree a deal with his parent club, Beşiktaş.

Uduokhai joined Beşiktaş permanently last summer after impressing during a season-long loan spell from German Bundesliga side Augsburg.

The 28-year-old defender made 22 appearances for the Turkish giants across all competitions during the 2025/26 season.

Besides Monza, Uduokhai has reportedly attracted interest from Bundesliga clubs Borussia Mönchengladbach, Werder Bremen and Schalke 04, as well as Spanish sides Espanyol and Alavés.

Respected Turkish football journalist and transfer expert Yağız Sabuncuoğlu confirmed that Monza have agreed personal terms with the defender, while negotiations with Beşiktaş remain ongoing.

“Monza, who have reached an agreement with Felix Uduokhai, have not yet been able to reach an agreement in their talks with Beşiktaş. The clubs are continuing discussions to find common ground for a deal,” Sabuncuoğlu wrote.

The experienced centre-back is currently valued at approximately €3.5 million by football statistics website Transfermarkt.
