Nigeria Premier Football League side Musa Malhave confirmed the transfer of teenage sensation Musa Maliq to Belgian Pro League club SV Zulte Waregem for an undisclosed fee.
The Lagos-based club announced the talented left winger’s departure via their official social media platforms on Tuesday, confirming that the 17-year-old had completed his medical examination.
“Our teenage sensation, Musa Maliq, has completed a move to Belgian Pro League side SV Zulte Waregem. Medicals passed. All checked,” the club stated.

Maliq scored once and provided one assist in 11 NPFL appearances during the 2025/26 season, helping Ikorodu City finish fourth for the second consecutive campaign. He made 15 league appearances for the club overall.
The teenager joined Ikorodu City in 2024 and was subsequently promoted to the first team to aid his development.
Maliq will now hope to continue his progress in Belgium and help the two-time Belgian Cup winners challenge for a top-place finish during the 2026/27 campaign.
