German Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig Belgium’s most successful club Anderlecht and Danish club Midtjylland are tracking 17-year-old Nigerian defender, Benjamin Fredrick.
Fredrick was part of the Nigeria U-20 team that featured at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where they finished third beating Tunisia 4-0 in the third place game.
The 17-year-old featured in all six games in the competition for the Flying Eagles playing a pivotal role in helping them keep clean sheets in four of the games and also helping them pick a World Cup ticket to the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11, 2023.
Respected and authoritative football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano made this known on his twitter handle on Friday. “Nigerian 17-year old defender Benjamin Fredrick is now attracting interest around Europe as Anderlecht, RB Leipzig and Midtjylland are tracking him.
