Kparobo Ariehi has completed a loan move from Lillestrøm to Norwegian First Division side Sogndal, with the teenager set to spend the remainder of the season at the club.
Sogndal confirmed the move on Monday, with the 19-year-old joining the club as he looks to secure regular playing time and continue his development in a competitive league.
Ariehi arrived in Sogndal on Sunday and watched the club’s league fixture against Bryne before joining his new teammates for his first training session on Monday.
The highly-rated forward was developed at Remo Stars’ reputable academy, Beyond Limits, before moving to Lillestrøm in 2025.

Later that year, he joined Mjøndalen on loan, making 14 appearances and scoring four goals during his spell with the Norwegian side.
Following his return to Lillestrøm, Ariehi scored his first competitive goal for the club in April, finding the net in a crucial derby against Vålerenga to help secure a 2-0 victory.
The youngster, who is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s top emerging football talents, believes the move to Sogndal will provide an ideal environment to continue his growth.
“I feel like this will be a good place for me. After looking around here, Sogndal seems to be a good place to develop, play and thrive,” Ariehi said.
“People are very nice here. This is going to be very good,” he added on his way to his first training session.
Sogndal’s player logistics chief Håvard Flo also welcomed the arrival of the Nigerian forward, highlighting his pace and the qualities he can add to the squad.
“Kparobo is a young and exciting player. He is a fast back-up striker and will complement the others we have in the squad. Now we are looking forward to starting the autumn season together,” Flo said.
Ariehi will now look to make an immediate impact at Sogndal as he seeks valuable minutes and further experience before returning to Lillestrøm at the end of the loan spell.
