Italian Serie A side SS Lazio is set to complete the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele Bashiru for €7 million from Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor.
Hatayspor had valued the midfielder for up to €6m plus add-ons but Lazio was only winning to part ways with €5m. However, according to Italian football journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have agreed on a €7m fee with the Turkish side already giving the green light for the move.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru only joined Hatayspor last season from Sheffield Wednesday for €300,000. He was instrumental in helping the side finish a respectable 10th in the Turkish Super Lig.
He had an impressive campaign with the Turkish side scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 36 league games finishing as the club’s top scorer and the player with the most assists.
The Nigeria international is expected to undergo a medical at Lazio this week and sign the contract to become a new Biancocelesti player.
