Spanish La Liga side Sevilla have announced the signing of Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke on a three-year deal, becoming the club’s first summer signing.
The 26-year-old arrives at the La Liga club after his contract with CSKA Moscow expired. Ejuke spent the previous two seasons on loan spells, first with Hertha Berlin in Germany and then with Royal Antwerp in Belgium.
The club in a statement on their official website and social media platforms confirmed the signing of the Nigerian winger, “Sevilla FC has reached an agreement with the Nigerian footballer Chidera Ejuke to become a new player for the Nervionense team, joining García Pimienta’s squad as a free agent and signing for three seasons, until June 2027.”
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano previously reported Ejuke’s verbal agreement with Sevilla, with medicals and contract signing expected this week.
Ejuke had a strong season at Antwerp last year, scoring five goals and assisting six in 39 appearances across all competitions. He’ll be looking to continue his impressive form in Spain and potentially earn a return to the Nigerian national team.
