Fisayo Dele-Bashiru came off the bench to score his first goal of the season as Lazio secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Juventus in their Serie A clash at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
The Super Eagles midfielder was introduced in the 69th minute and found the net in the closing stages to cap a ruthless performance from Lazio, who maintained their unbeaten start to the league campaign.
Lazio took the lead in the 37th minute when captain Mattia Zaccagni delivered a dangerous cross into the box, allowing Oliver Provstgaard to rise highest and power a header past Guglielmo Vicario to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 66th minute through Gustav Isaksen, who received a superb switch of play from Nuno Tavares before driving into the box and curling an excellent finish into the bottom-left corner.

Dele-Bashiru replaced Kenneth Taylor three minutes later and made his presence felt with an impressive individual effort to put the result beyond doubt.
In the 89th minute, the Nigerian midfielder exchanged passes with Andrea Pinamonti before embarking on a powerful run from his own half into Juventus’ penalty area. He then unleashed a clinical finish across goal and into the bottom-left corner to seal a memorable 3-0 victory for Lazio.
The result sees Lazio move up to second place in the Serie A standings with 19 points from seven matches, level with leaders Inter Milan, who remain ahead on goal difference. Juventus, meanwhile, drop to eighth with 11 points.
Lazio will look to extend their impressive run when they host Parma in their next Serie A fixture on Saturday, October 24, while Juventus will seek a response when they welcome Rennes in the Europa League on Thursday.
