Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has been appointed as one of the FIFA Technical Analysts for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, holding from November 20 to December 18.
Oliseh’s job as a FIFA technical Analyst involves analysing matches and team trends at the World Cup where he’ll have the opportunity to work with top football personalities such as former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger and ex-Germany and USA coach, Jurgen Klinnsman.
According to the 48-year-old work has already begun in Qatar and he’s extremely delighted with the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most renowned names in football.
“Extremely honoured to have been appointed by FIFA as a Technical Expert for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. In privileged company of “Sir” Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman and 3 others. Work started last night. Qatar 2022 is looking great and ready,” the former Juventus midfielder tweeted.
The ex-Super Eagles midfielder was also in 2016 appointed into FIFA’s FIFA technical committee. Oliseh last managed German side SV Straelen but left the position after six games which all ended in losses.
There’s 50 days to the start of the World Cup.
