Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has hailed the doggedness of Premier League leaders Arsenal in their hard-fought 3-2 win over rivals Manchester United to go five points clear on the log.

Eddie Nketiah’s 90th minute flick ensured the Gunners took the maximum points from the encounter while also avenging their 3-1 loss to the Red Devils earlier in the season. 

Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Lisandro Martinez were on the score sheet as well in the encounter. Saka became the third Arsenal player to score against United in three consecutive games joining club legends Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg.

Oliseh who worked as FIFA Technical Expert at the 2022 World Cup alongside Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman hailed the never die spirit of the Gunners in the win also believing that the result over in-form United shows that they have the credentials to win the league title.
