Dennis pens farewell message to Watford

Emmanuel Dennis has penned a farewell message to Watford fans after completing a four year move to English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

Dennis joined Watford in the summer of the 2021/22 season but despite his impressive performance for the club where he scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances, it was not enough to keep the Hornets away from relegation.

Speaking after completing his move, the Nigeria international has penned a farewell message to the club and its fans as well as wishing them the best for the season. “Thank you, Watford, for everything, I want to wish the club all the best for this season and the future. Forever in my heart,” Dennis tweeted on Sunday, minutes after Forest picked up their first win of the season.

The 24-year-old will join fellow Super Eagles teammate – Taiwo Awoniyi at the club as the side will be hoping to maintain their Premier League status at the end of the season.

Dennis’ move will be a boost to Forest’s attacking front which already has Jesse Lingard, Taiwo Awoniyi, Brennan Johnson and Samuel Surridge.
