Confirmed! Boniface, Tella to play in next season’s Champions League

Nigerian forwards Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella are set for their Champions League debut after Bayer Leverkusen secured a top-four finish in the Bundesliga with a thrilling 2-1 comeback win against Hoffenheim.

This victory solidified Leverkusen’s place among the league’s elite, and with a commanding 13-point lead over Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga title seems almost certain to be heading to Leverkusen.

For both Boniface and Tella, who joined Leverkusen this summer, this Champions League qualification marks a significant milestone in their football careers.
