Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi, Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble and Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah have arrived the Super Eagles camp for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Bold Sports reports.
This was disclosed on the Super Eagles Instagram page Thursday afternoon.
“Update: @awoniyi18, @noble.john and @olisandah6 are the players currently in camp,” the team posted.
The Team had earlier on Wednesday, posted that Ndah was the first to arrive camp.
Eagles interim coach, Austin Eguavoen, had on Christmas day announced a list of 28 players expected to represent Nigeria at the AFCON which starts in Cameroon on January 9.
In the statement by the Communications Department of the Nigeria Football Federation, players except the ones based in the United Kingdom are expected to start arriving camp as from Wednesday.
The UK-based players are expected in camp on January 3.
The Eagles are camped in Abuja, before travelling to Cameroon for the AFCON.
They will kick their quest to claim a fourth African title when they file out against Egypt in the group opener on January 11.
