Asisat Oshoala scored a brace and provided an assist on Thursday as Al Hilal thrashed Eastern Flames 5-0 to end their Saudi Women’s Premier League season on a high note.
The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year, took her impressive tally for the season to 12 goals and four assists in 13 league matches, helping her side end their three game winless run.
After a goalless first half, Al Hilal ran riot in the second 45 minutes. Oshoala opened the scoring two minutes in, before the hosts netted twice in five minutes to make it 3-0 by the hour mark.
Asisat Oshoala assisted Kheira Hamraoui for the fourth goal in the 73rd minute. The Nigerian striker rounded up the scoring seven minutes later, finding the net to make it 5-0.

The result means that Al Hilal end the season fifth on the table with 23 points in 14 games while Eastern Flames finish bottom with only three points.
With the league season now concluded, Al Hilal will turn their focus to the SAFF Women’s Cup where they will face Al Qadsiah in the semifinal.
The first leg of the tie is scheduled for April 30 while the second leg will take place on May 7. Al Hilal will aim for victory as they seek to end the season with silverware.
