Rwanda national football team coach Torsten Spittler has unveiled a 30-player provisional squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Libya and Nigeria.
The Amavubi will be aiming to secure a perfect six points from their final two Group C matches. They will first face Libya at the Amahoho Stadium in Kigali, followed by a crucial clash against Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Rwanda, currently third in Group D, trails second-placed Benin by a single point and leaders Nigeria by five points. To boost their chances of qualifying for the AFCON in Morocco, they must win both of their remaining matches. Additionally, they will be hoping for a Nigerian victory over Benin in Ivory Coast.
The East African nation last qualified for the AFCON in 2004 and lost out in the group phase.
