Twenty players have arrived in the Super Eagles camp ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, Bold Sports reports.
Taiwo Awoniyi, who replaced the injured Victor Osimhen in the squad, is among the early arrivals alongside Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, Akor Adams, Calvin Bassey and Ola Aina.
The players are preparing for the team’s first training session under head coach Éric Chelle.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali are expected to arrive at noon, which would increase the number of players in camp to 23.

Nigeria will host Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, September 25, before travelling to Bissau to face Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday, September 29.
