Atletico Madrid winger Ademola Lookman will wear the No. 11 jersey for the 2026/27 season, the club confirmed on Thursday.
Lookman joined Atletico Madrid from Serie A side Atalanta during the winter transfer window and initially wore the No. 22 shirt. However, the Nigeria international has now switched to the No. 11 jersey ahead of the new campaign.
The shirt was previously worn by Argentine attacking midfielder Thiago Almada, who recently completed a move to River Plate.
The No. 11 jersey is familiar to Lookman, as he also wore it during his time at Atalanta.

The winger registered nine goals and four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for Diego Simeone’s side last season. He will be hoping to build on those numbers and begin the new campaign strongly.
