George Ilenikhena has become a transfer target for Trabzonspor. The Turkish club has reportedly made a €15 million offer for the Al-Ittihad forward.
However, Al-Ittihad rejected the proposal. The Saudi Arabian club wants €20 million to consider selling the young striker this summer.
The transfer interest comes after a strong start to the new campaign for Ilenikhena. The 20-year-old scored twice in Al-Ittihad’s 3-0 win over Al-Najma.
The match came in the King Cup of Champions. Ilenikhena’s brace marked his latest contribution for the Saudi club.
His recent performance has now added further interest around his future. Trabzonspor are among the European clubs monitoring the Nigeria-eligible forward.
Ilenikhena joined Al-Ittihad from AS Monaco in February 2026. The move came during the winter transfer window. The Saudi club signed him as part of its attacking plans.
Before leaving Monaco, Ilenikhena had scored 10 goals and provided two assists for the French club.

According to reports from Sabah Spor, Trabzonspor contacted Al-Ittihad about Ilenikhena.
The Turkish side reportedly offered €15 million. Al-Ittihad turned down the proposal.
The Saudi club has instead set a €20 million asking price. That figure could force Trabzonspor to decide whether to improve their offer.
Ilenikhena remains one of the young forwards attracting attention during the summer window. His recent two-goal display has also strengthened his position in the transfer market.
His Al-Ittihad contract runs until 2029.
A move to Trabzonspor would give Ilenikhena another opportunity in European football.
The forward previously developed his career in Europe with Amiens, Antwerp and Monaco. He also scored against Barcelona during Monaco’s Champions League campaign.
For now, Al-Ittihad’s €20 million valuation remains the key obstacle.
Trabzonspor must decide whether to return with an improved proposal. Ilenikhena’s latest performance could make the negotiations even more interesting before the summer window closes.
