D’Tigress center, Lauren Ebo, has joined Spanish basketball club Joventut Badalona on a one-year deal that runs until June 2026.
Based in Badalona, Catalonia, Joventut Badalona competes in the Liga Femenina, Spain’s top-tier women’s basketball league.
The club on Wednesday confirmed the acquisition of Ebo, who represented Nigeria at the 2024 Paris Olympics but was not included in the final roster for the recently concluded FIBA Women’s Afrobasket.
“Club Joventut Badalona and Lauren Ebo have reached an agreement for next season, and the center signs with the Penya until June 2026. Ebo, born in the USA, holds a Nigerian passport and competed for the Nigerian national team at the Paris Olympic Games,” the official statement read.

Before joining Joventut Badalona, Ebo played for Polish side Klub Sportowy Basket, where she delivered standout performances, averaging 15.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and a performance rating of 19 per game.
