Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is preparing for life after football, having successfully completed the CAF/SAFA D License Coaching Course, Bold Sports reports.

The CAF/SAFA D License is a foundational coaching program offered by the South African Football Association (SAFA), designed to equip aspiring coaches with the basic knowledge and skills needed to begin their journey in football coaching.

Now 38, Akpeyi is currently without a club after being released by South African side Marumo Gallants at the end of the 2024/25 season, where he featured in just seven matches and conceded nine goals.
