Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen might miss Napoli’s penultimate game of the season against Fiorentina on Friday due to fatigue, according to Italian reports.
Osimhen is reportedly suffering from muscle fatigue and may need to sit out the game to rest and fully recover. This comes after Napoli’s 2-0 loss to Bologna last weekend.

Unlike his teammates, Osimhen did not return to training today at the SSN Konami Center. Instead, he underwent muscle therapy, according to the club.
In a statement, Napoli said, “Napoli trained this morning at the SSCN Konami Training Center. The Azzurri are preparing for the match against Fiorentina scheduled for Friday at the Franchi Stadium for the 37th matchday of Serie A,” the club statement reads.
“The team trained on pitch 1 starting the session with activation and strength circuit. Closing of the session with a small-sided game. Lindstrom and Zielinski did custom work on the court. Gym for Mario Rui. Osimhen has undergone therapy. Mazzocchi trained in a group.”
