Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is considering taking legal action against Napoli after he was trolled by the club’s official TikTok on Tuesday over his penalty miss over the weekend, according to reports in Italy.
Osimhen had a fallout with manager Rudi Garcia after being replaced in the closing minutes of their goalless draw against Bologna over the weekend in an Italian Serie A encounter. A video showed him berating the Spaniard for taking him off instead of staying on to help the team.
The Nigeria international has since apologised to the former Lille and AS Roma manager as well as his teammates for his outburst claiming his annoyance was due to their failure to win a second consecutive league game.

In a distasteful manner, the club’s TikTok administrator posted a video of Osimhen appealing to his teammates to be given the opportunity to take the penalty over this weekend, an effort he failed to convert. The video used a strange sped-up voice to mock the striker.
According to Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda the video infuriated the player and they are looking to take legal actions against the club.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted. A serious fact that causes severe damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
