Tottenham Hotspur are set to join the race for explosive Nigerian striker, Gift Orban to strengthen the team’s attack ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The Lilywhites are also in the market for possible replacements for influential captain Harry Kane who is on the verge of joining German giants Bayern Munich who have penned his name down as a top target. According to reports, Bayern are ready to smash their transfer record and bid £ 85 million for the England captain.
Orban who had an impressive 2022/23 season scoring 20 goals in 22 games across all competitions for Belgian Jupiler League side Gent despite joining the club in January for Norwegian side Stabæk has been on the radar of French Ligue 1 side Lens and Lille.
The 21-year-old has begun the 2023/24 season the way he stopped the last, already finding the back of the net twice in two games played so far in the new season.

He found the back of the net once in a 3-2 win over K.V. Kortrijk in their opening Jupiler Pro League game while he’s also bagged a goal in the club’s 5-1 thrashing of MSK Zilina in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.
Tottenham entering the fray for the signing of the Nigerian is what the management at Gent had been looking for as it would help them increase the price tag on the player. At the moment, the Belgian side have valued the player at €20 to €25 million.
