Troost-Ekong has been a mainstay for Greek side PAOK this season completing 90 minutes in nine out of 10 games he’s featured in helping his side sit top of the table.

Fabrizio in a post on microblogging site X formally Twitter wrote, “Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong caught the attention of clubs in Saudi due to his impressive performances in the AFCON.

“He’s been leading PAOK to the top of the Greek Super League and Europe Conference League, he’s very happy there — but the Saudi interest for summer is strong.”

Aside from Troost-Ekong, interest in Ajayi would also spring up after his outstanding performance in the competition. Both players would line up for Nigeria on Sunday against hosts Ivory Coast in the final of the AFCON.
