Tolu Arokodare’s future at Wolves has become uncertain in recent days after it was revealed that the striker was reportedly involved in a dressing room altercation.

The Super Eagles forward, who is Wolves’ highest goalscorer with six goals in all competitions this season, was an unused substitute in their 3-0 loss to Leeds. Recent reports have indicated why this may have happened.

According to Sports Journalist Nathan Judah on his X account, there was a verbal exchange, which became “significantly physical” between Arokodare and Mateus Mane in the dressing room.

The Nigerian striker is believed to have been the “sole aggressor” and has reportedly been fined by the club.

“It is my understanding that following the 4-0 defeat at West Ham last week, there was a verbal altercation between Tolu Arokodare & Mateus Mane in the dressing room,” Nathan Judah revealed.

“That altercation became significantly physical with Arokodare being the sole aggressor. He has since been fined by the club & was an unused substitute on Saturday in the 3-0 defeat at Leeds,” he added.

“The Nigerian international’s future at the club is in considerable doubt heading into the summer.”

On Sunday night, Matheus Mane posted a picture of himself and Arokodare on his Instagram story. He added the caption “big bro” and a love emoji. This suggests the duo have settled things between themselves.

Wolves currently sit bottom of the Premier League with 17 points in 33 games. They are almost certain to get relegated to the Championship except a miracle occurs.

It remains to be seen if Tolu Arokodare will stay at the club or move elsewhere. The striker joined Wolves less than a year ago from Genk. However, he is now attracting interest from other clubs in the Premier League and abroad.
