Paris Saint-Germain announced on Wednesday the signing of Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini. The 23-year-old joins the French giants from Juventus on a three-year contract, keeping her at the club until June 2027.
PSG in a statement said, “Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Jennifer Onyi Echegini to its women’s team. The Nigerian international striker has signed with the Parisian club until June 2027.”
Echegini impressed during her short stint in Italy, scoring 10 goals and providing one assist in just 16 games for Juventus.
Her performances helped the Bianconere qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and she was even named to the Serie A Team of the Year and voted the league’s best young player.
Echegini expressed her excitement about the move, stating her pride in joining a club known for its ambition and excellence. She’s eager to contribute and help PSG achieve trophies.
“I am experiencing a great moment in my career today. Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a huge source of pride,” the Florida State Seminoles’ legend told the club’s website.
