Sporting Lagos will aim to halt their three-match winless streak when they host Katsina United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos today.
The recent slump has seen the Nigeria Premier Football League newcomers plummet to the lower half of the table. Since their resounding 3-0 victory over Kano Pillars on November 6, Sporting Lagos has suffered consecutive 1-0 defeats to Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars, sandwiched between a 1-1 home draw against Heartland.

A victory against Katsina would alleviate the pressure on Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor, whose side has been criticized for squandering scoring opportunities in recent games.
Meanwhile, Katsina United will seek to snatch at least a point in Lagos to solidify their 11th position in the standings. Similar to Sporting Lagos, The Changi Boys are also without a win in their last two league matches, drawing 1-1 at home against Bayelsa United and playing out a goalless draw against Enugu Rangers on November 19.
