Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo have won the domestic double after AS Roma clinched the Italian Cup with a 1-0 victory over Juventus on Sunday.

Few days after winning the Serie A Femminile, the Super Falcons duo have now claimed their second trophy with the club, marking a highly successful end to their 2025/26 campaign.

Shukurat Oladipo, who was named the league’s best defender, played all 90 minutes in the cup final against Juventus, continuing her fine form. Meanwhile, Rinsola Babajide was an unused substitute.

Roma secured victory with an 80th minute goal from captain Manuela Giugliano, who scored with the team’s only shot on target. Her finish was enough to earn the trophy, despite Juventus’ desperate late efforts to score an equaliser.

It means that Roma have now won the domestic double for the second time in three seasons. They also achieved the feat in the 2023/24 campaign.

Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo will hope to carry their club success into the national team. The duo are expected to play during the upcoming 2026 WAFCON, where the Super Falcons will be defending their title.

The highly-anticipated tournament will hold in Morocco from July 26 to August 16.
