Victor Osimhen’s future has taken another dramatic twist after reports in Turkey claimed two European clubs have tabled offers worth €120 million for the Nigerian striker, despite Galatasaray’s determination to keep him at the club.
According to Turkish broadcaster D-Smart Spor, citing DHA Sports Deputy Editor-in-Chief Serhan Türk, the Turkish champions have been informed of two separate €120m bids from Europe for the Super Eagles forward. The identities of the clubs, however, were not disclosed.
The latest claim adds another chapter to what might become one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer, with Osimhen continuing to attract interest following another outstanding campaign in Turkey.
Osimhen’s transfer saga has dominated headlines for nearly two years. After helping Napoli win their first Serie A title in more than three decades, the Nigerian spent months linked with several of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and clubs in Saudi Arabia, but none of the moves materialised before the close of the transfer window.

With his future unresolved, Napoli sanctioned a surprise loan move to Galatasaray in September 2024, a deal many viewed as a temporary solution while he waited for another opportunity to move to one of Europe’s traditional powerhouses. Instead, the striker rediscovered his best form in Istanbul, winning over supporters with a string of outstanding performances that eventually convinced Galatasaray to secure his services on a permanent deal.
Türk said Galatasaray have no intention of parting with the 27-year-old and remain committed to building next season’s squad around the Nigerian as they prepare to defend their Süper Lig title and compete in the UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen has become one of the cornerstones of the Istanbul club since arriving from Napoli, rewarding Galatasaray’s faith with another prolific season in front of goal.
The Nigerian finished the campaign with 22 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, playing a decisive role as Galatasaray secured a fourth consecutive league title and reached the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
His performances have ensured speculation over his future has never completely disappeared.
Several top European clubs have been linked with the former African Footballer of the Year in recent months, while clubs from the Saudi Pro League have also continued to monitor his situation. Earlier reports in Turkey suggested Galatasaray had already rebuffed interest in the striker as they looked to fend off growing attention from abroad.

The latest report suggests that interest has now intensified, with two European clubs reportedly prepared to meet the €120m valuation.
Should the reported offers materialise, they would represent one of the biggest transfer fees ever proposed for an African footballer and hand Galatasaray a significant profit on the fee they paid to sign the Nigerian from Napoli.
For now, however, the Turkish champions appear unmoved.
Neither Galatasaray nor Osimhen has publicly commented on the latest report, while the identities of the clubs remain unknown.
