Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade delivered a standout performance, scoring two goals and providing an assist to lead Atletico Madrid Femenino to a dominant 4-0 victory over Valencia in the Spanish Liga F on Sunday.
Ajibade’s brace marked her first goals of the season, having previously been unable to find the net in Atletico’s wins over Granada and Deportivo.

The victory lifted Atletico to the top of the Liga F table, level on points with defending champions Barcelona after three matches.
Ajibade’s impact was immediate. She provided a low cross for Gabriela García to tap in for the opening goal in the 15th minute. Sheila Guijarro doubled the lead before Ajibade took center stage. The Nigerian forward showcased her skill with two exceptional goals, securing Atletico’s victory.
Ajibade’s first goal came in the 38th minute with a stunning finish. She completed her brace in the final minute, capitalizing on a rebound to seal Atletico’s 4-0 triumph.
