Josh Maja, has become a free agent after leaving French Ligue 2 side Bordeaux at the expiration of his contract.
The former Sunderland man who spearheaded Bordeaux’s promotion chase last season is attracting interest from several French Ligue 1 teams, as well as clubs from England, Scotland, and Germany.
Bordeaux had tabled a new and improved contract for the striker to stay at the club and help them with another promotion push after his exploits from the previous season, however, the one-cap Super Eagles player turned down the offer.

Thank you, Josh!” They wrote on Instagram with a video of his goals for the club.
During his time at the club, the Nigeria international scored 29 goals and provided nine assists in 92 games for the club in all competitions. He scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 40 games for the club last season in Ligue 2.
Maja has been heavily linked to Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers while he’s also reported to have a strong offer from Turkey.
