Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca are preparing to submit an official bid to Chippa United for the transfer of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Bold Sports reports.
The Nigeria international’s impressive performances for both club and country have attracted interest from several teams within and outside South Africa, with Raja Casablanca now poised to make a move for the 29-year-old as they seek to secure a new first-choice goalkeeper.
Nwabali, who joined Chippa United in 2022, has since become the club’s captain and one of their standout performers. Chippa has also been searching for a new goalkeeper due to the high interest in the Nigerian.
According to reports, Raja are set to send a formal offer to Chippa United this week and are confident there will be no issues in agreeing on personal terms with the player.

“Raja Casablanca want Stanley Nwabali as their new No. 1. A bid will be sent to Chippa United; personal terms and signing-on fee with the goalkeeper are not a problem for Raja,” South African broadcaster Karabo Slab Phasha posted on X.
Nwabali is currently in preseason camp with Chippa United (the Chilli Boys) as Raja prepare to make their official approach.
