Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly making significant progress in their pursuit of Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen.
According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the French giants are intensifying their interest in the Nigerian international.
“Paris Saint-Germain are advancing in talks with Victor Osimhen’s camp as their interest is now getting concrete,” Romano wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 25-year-old forward has been a standout performer in Serie A, attracting attention from several top clubs across Europe. However, it appears that PSG has taken the lead in the race for his signature.
Romano added, “Osimhen, keen on joining PSG and open to the move if they can agree on deal/fee with Napoli.”
He further added that the club will hasten decisions on Osimhen’s signing “if one centre striker left.”
Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are other clubs interested in the Nigeria striker.
