Italy legend, Christian Vieri, has urged Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, to sign Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, as replacement for outgoing Senegalese striker, Said Mane.

Liverpool are likely to lose Mane in the summer with Bayern Munich looking to sign the former Southampton man as replacement for wantaway striker Robert Lewandowski.

Mane has just one year left on his contract and has refused to put pen to paper with some reports stating that he is looking to earn £400,000 per week at the club, a fee the Reds will not be looking to agree on. 

The Reds are hoping to get at least £42.5m for their star player while Bayern are looking to get him on the cheap for £25m.

However, the Inter Milan legend has urged Klopp to go for Osimhen as he believes the Nigeria international will be a perfect fit for the English giants.

“If I were Liverpool, I would go and take Osimhen from Napoli,” said Vieira on Twitch channel BoboTV, as quoted by Napoli Magazine. “Everyone runs in Klopp’s squad, they go a thousand miles an hour. He would be perfect.”
