Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, will be out of action for Napoli until at least November due to a hamstring injury sustained while on international duty for Nigeria in a friendly against Saudi Arabia on October 13th.
The star striker has already missed Napoli’s wins against Hellas Verona in Serie A and Union Berlin in the Champions League, and he is now expected to be absent for the Super Eagles’ 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

Osimhen is currently undergoing therapy and will be monitored closely during the next international break in November. If his recovery progresses well, he could return to action for Napoli’s Serie A clash against on November 25th and the Champions League Group C game against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli is expected to be cautious with Osimhen’s return to avoid re-injury.
While away with injury, Napoli will be hoping to gain favourable results against AC Milan, Salernitana, the Champions League return leg against Union Berlin at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, and a home game against Empoli.
