Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is expected to play his first game since signing for Galatasaray permanently when the Turkish side face Serie A outfit Lazio in a friendly match scheduled for Saturday evening, Bold Sports reports.
The game will be Galatasaray’s final preseason test after they secured four victories in the four matches they have played so far, defeating Umraniyespor, Admira Wacker, Cagliari, and Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Prior to the game, Galatasaray’s third kit will be launched and there will be a signing ceremony for Osimhen and Leroy Sane, which will be broadcast exclusively on the club’s YouTube page.
Osimhen will join a star-studded new look attack that includes the former Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane, Mauro Icardi who is recovering from a long-term ACL injury, and Baris Asper Yilmaz who formed a dangerous duo with the Nigerian striker last season.

Osimhen will be hoping to at least replicate his amazing season in the previous campaign where he scored 37 goals and recorded seven assists, helping Galatasaray lift both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup while winning numerous individual accolades including the goal of the season award and the league’s golden boot.
His first competitive match will come up against Gaziantep FK in less than a week’s time as Galatasaray will look to make a winning start in their quest to lift the Super Lig for the fourth year in a row.
Gaziantep was one of few clubs that Osimhen failed to score against last season, however, with the supporters cheering him on after a historic move, the Nigerian striker will be more than determined to open his account for the new season against Ismet Tasdemir’s side.
