Victor Osimhen continued to impress at Galatasaray by matching a long-standing club record previously held by a former Chelsea superstar during the Turkish giants’ emphatic 4–0 victory over Kayserispor on Sunday.
The Super Eagles striker played a key role as Galatasaray comfortably dispatched Kayserispor 4-0 at Rams Park, maintaining their strong push at the top end of the Turkish Super Lig table.
The result further underlined the club’s dominance this season and their title credentials.Osimhen’s latest contribution took his Super Lig goal tally for the campaign to eight, a return that places him in elite company in Galatasaray’s recent history.

According to OptaCan, since 2015, the Nigerian forward is now one of only two Galatasaray players to have scored seven league goals without missing a single penalty.
The only other player to achieve that feat is Radamel Falcao, the former Chelsea and Manchester United striker who enjoyed a prolific spell with the Istanbul-based club during his time in Turkey.
By equalling Falcao’s record, Osimhen has further cemented his growing influence at Galatasaray and highlighted his efficiency from the penalty spot, a quality that continues to add significant value to the team’s attacking output.
